I’m an INFP. It stands for Introverted iNtuitive Feeling Perceiving, or Introverted Feeling with Extroverted Intuition. I pronounce it as inf-pah. I’m an infpah…
Since INFP’s make up about 1-4% (it varies with source) of the general population, we’re a pretty rare bunch of people.
INFPs present a calm, pleasant face to the world and are seen as reticent and even shy. Although they demonstrate a cool reserve toward others, inside they are anything but distant. They have a capacity for caring which is not always found in other types. They care deeply – indeed, passionately – about a few special persons or a cause. One word that captures this type is idealistic.
What’s also rare is information dedicated to INFP’s, and sites for where they can get together and communicate with each other.
If you’re an INFP (or even just an introvert!), maybe you’d like to hang out on this site and have conversations with me. Let me know if you’d like me to set up a forum where we can discuss things that are important to us.
Oh, and if you’re not exactly sure if you’re an INFP or something else, then you might want to take this test. Please feel free to share with us what personality type you are.
I’ll be posting a few articles on various aspects of what it means to be an INFP, which you can access by clicking on the INFP category in the Category Cloud.

Hmm well thats not what I was expecting, in the past when I’ve done these tests I’ve always been an INFP like you, but now it seems I’ve developed into an INFJ. However in not liking the result I’m judging myself thereby proving that it could well be true

Hehehe. Isn’t it great to have a deeper understanding of who we are… warts and all. Or, in your case, judgements and all.
